Glacier Sunset
Sometimes the best moments come when you least expect them. After a long day exploring Glacier National Park, we returned to the Big Bend after discovering it earlier in the day, hoping for a sunset. The sky was thick with clouds, dull and gray, and for a moment, it felt like we had waited for nothing. But nature has a way of surprising you. Slowly, the clouds began to thin, revealing streaks of color. Then, almost all at once, the sky ignited in brilliant hues, painting the mountains in golden light. Standing amidst the fireweed, I felt completely in the moment—no distractions, just the raw beauty of the world around me. It was one of those rare experiences where time seems to stand still. Looking back, it wasn’t just about the sunset itself, but the journey to that moment—the patience, the uncertainty, and the reward of witnessing something truly breathtaking. It reminded me that sometimes, you just have to wait and let nature do its thing
