As the sun dips toward the horizon over Northern California, golden light reflects across the Pacific Ocean. Nestled high on the Bolinas-Fairfax Ridge of Mount Tamalpais, a small grove of redwoods and oak trees cradles a handcrafted net made from climbing rope and paracord — my favorite high school hideaway.
Suspended above the ridge with sweeping ocean views, it was a place to unwind, watch the sunset, and feel completely free. This photo captures the calm and wonder of that moment, where light, landscape, and memory come together in perfect harmony.
